CIRSDe promotes and encourages methods of research in various fields of study that pay special attention to gender differences. The Centre promotes multidisciplinary research regarding topics interconnected with the presence and position of women across time, societies and cultures; the various forms of expression that gender differences find in society; a critical re-examination of the characteristics generally associated to a certain gender.
